Appu has changed a lot since I shot this picture at Chor Bazar , he has become more Mouzie meaning Muslim , skull cap beard growth etc but he is still jovial , and lives his way through life..
He does not call out or draw your attention to get alms like other beggars do , he does it with dignity and grace.
Appu is the story of Life and I would not want anyone of you to ever relive it.
But I do take courage from him and my flaws become minimal when I think of Appus own disabilities and how he has overcome it.
Appu was blown by a minefield called Fate.. and he lives to tell his story through my pictures ..of him.
