Most Of The Muslim Beggars I Shot In Bandra Disappear .. After Ramzan

Most of the Muslim beggars in the slum pockets at Bandra predominantly hail from Murshidabad W Bengal.. so change of government either at State level or Center does not change the destiny of the beggars at all.

Whether the Left or Hon Mamtaji , the poor seek hope and fortunately there is abundance of hope in Mumbai , so also whether it is Hon Bahenji or Hon Akhileshji , it is Mumbai that flourishes for the beggar than entire Uttar Pradesh combined .. same goes for beggars from Bihar.

I must say without being partisan I did not see Maharashtrian beggars at the Maha Kumbh and I did not take a microscope with me ,,,

I shoot beggars I dont sell pictures , nobody buys pictures of pain , even if you give them free.

I can say that Ramzan is hope for the Beggars though only for a month because after Ramzan we as Muslims will be back on the beaten track.. the rich Muslims get richer the poor Muslims just disappear.

I shoot beggars where I see them and all these are old pictures , I dont stalk them at mosques , I find them at the convenience store of my Bandra back lanes .

Nowadays strangely I dont move out with the camera endless Kurla East trips for Marziyas Fish tank.. I take the camera when I go to town and I hate shooting flooded streets , it only shows disrespect for our Municipal services .. and they who work there are lucky normally before Diwali they will call for a strike to get their demands from the Government which is taking our pound of flesh and soul.

Fuck the beggars cant strike they have yet to form a Union...and if they go on a strike it would only affect those that are in the beggar mafia , the haftakhors and the hotel guys who sell coupons to rich folks to serve stale rancid food to them , which I am told even rats wont eat .. though rats eat rat poison with relish has nothing to do with my beggar blogs.

Mr Kiran Kumar

One of the most humble kind courteous human being , a great versatile actor ..I have known Bhaiji as he is fondly called since 1975 .. and he has always supported me and we share a great rapport..

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kiran Kumar (Kashmiri: किरण कुमार (Devanagari), کرن کمار (Nastaleeq)) is a Mumbai-based Kashmiri Indian actor. He has worked in many Hindi and Gujarati films. He has been the hero in most of the Gujarati movies.[citation needed] He is the son of veteran character actor Jeevan.

Kiran Dhar (stage name- Kiran Kumar) is a descendant of a Kashmir royal family. He is the son of legendary character actor Jeevan. He is married to a Gujarati actress Sushma Verma.[citation needed] They have two children: Vikas Kumar who was working with David Dhawan as an Assistant Director and Srishti, who is a Mass Media graduate and runs a jewellery and clothing label with her mother called "Sush & Shish".
Kiran is a Kashmiri by birth and has ties with the Royal Family by virtue of being the grand son of the Vazir-e-Vazarat of Gilgit.[1] He is a devout believer of Sai baba and has a production house named after the saint- "Sainama Visions"

Recently he has been honoured with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy Of Film & Television
He is a member of CINTAA and is a part of the core committee. He was responsible, along with others, in organising the "Star CINTAA superstars ka jalwa" - a televised event that brought the entire hindi film and television industry together to perform and raise funds for CINTAA.
[edit]Career

He attended Daly College, a boarding school in Indore. He enrolled at R. D. National College in Bandra, Mumbai, and later joined the Film and Television Institute of India (FTTI) in Pune.[1] As a young boy it was the film industry which drew him because of his father's association with it.[citation needed] Kumar starred in Do Boond Pani in 1971, and went on to play the lead in several movies. Due to bad decisions to choose roles his career saw a slump with the onset of movies like jungle mein mangal and other such oddball films. During this phase Kumar started to work in Gujarati movies, where he quickly reached cult status getting him the "Bachhan of Gujarati cinema" title. Rakesh Roshan's "Khudgarz" got him back to Hindi cinema, and then on negative roles in films like "Tezaab" and "Khuda Gawah" won him accolades as an antihero.
Sunil Mehta's Prem Kishan was his first television serial. He's established himself as a reining star in the television industry with serials like Zindagi, Ghutan, Sahil, Manzil, Katha Sagar, Aur Phir ek Din, Papa, miilee, chhajje chajje ka pyar and more.
He was in the process of starting a production house called "Sainama Visions" for which the pilot episode of a show called "Aashiana" was also shot.

From One Ramzan To The Next The Beggars Destiny Does Not Change

And the rich man wont take a pledge this Ramza I will buy a Jaipur leg for the cripple or get the blind lady beggar at Pydhone operated , because every one is busy filling their coffers , we have no community spirit ,,changing a poor mans life is not our job,, it is the job overworked God.. he gives you extra so you will give some to the unfortunate to the poor , but as Indians we are busy filling the coffers of the Trustees of Mosques , Shrines and Madrsas..Temples Churches and other Holy places ..

Diamond studded shawls etc will the poor die in misery and our Netas are busy laughing all the way to the bank after winning the seat..

As a 60 year old man I am a dreamer only the youth can change all this and this corrupted mind set..

Fruits Is All Time Expensive Every Ramzan

Giving With Your Heart .. Is The Message Of Ramzan

Ramzan is a Holy Month sadly the spirit of Ramzan is found only during Ramzan if it was sincerely carried forward this world would be a better place to live in, with one Muslim nation living in peace with all other nations, and Muslims living in peace despite sectarian cultural differences ,, is how I see it as a poet and incorrigible dreamer.

But than our destiny is written in bombs and bloodshed ,killing is the misguided spirit inherent within our folds kill and be saved .Of course those with heavy blinkers wont notice it, and life goes on.. so my Ramzan blogs are more of pictures of peace and tidbits with bearings to my surroundings.

The Awakeners are Muslim mendicants who come from distant suburbs to Bandra adjacent areas , and I think they adopt one area and with a torch stick in hand to keep away stray dogs they shout out before Sairi time to wake up and begin the Roza or Fast.

As my Ramzan Blogs are part of my timeline this is a picture when Marziya my grand daughter than about 2 year old offered alms to the Awakeners.. now she is  5 and less adventurous as her place of adventure has been taken up by her 2 year sister Nerjis Asif Shakir ... both Bandra street photographers.. sure shots.

Ramzan is perhaps the only time when Muslims eponymous are Muslims .. not Sunni Shia ..timings differ but the spirit of peace is universal unsegregated .. In Mumbai Bandra and other places that I blog about Muslims live in peace and amity.

The other communities non Muslims love Ramzan and most of them visit their Muslim friends to savor Ramzan Iftar .. and I dont mean the cliched vote garnering Neta Iftar.. total hogwash..and bigger hogwash communities calling Netas for their Iftar as chief guests makes me puke all over.

Calling other religious heads Catholic priests and educantionalists social activits and calling the poor to is the Ramzan effect of Peace ..

You will hardly hear of a rich man breaking the fast for the beggars the homeless and the destitute unless it is to usurp their shanties ..

And Ramzan the rains is a nice pucca Mumbai experience.

And being a blogger with over 281,913  pictures of every culture at Flickr.com I dont really have to hunt for new pictures tweaking them as monochromes through Aviary editing Flickr tool you have a new picture and a new blog..

And I am a hardcore fan of Marissa Mayer Ceo Yahoo Inc , I think she was shrewd astute buying Tumblr is million to one better option than buying Wordpress ... ha ha ha

The Spirit Of Peace Hope Ramzan Touches Even The Non Muslims At Minara Masjid Food Lane

Most office folks, advertising dudes and foodies, love Ramzan spirit , and you will find them seated here savoring the Ramzan delicacies , sweets malpua, grilled chicken, mutton paya and other exotic stuff.

However Sulaiman Usman the sweet shop is universally famous for its Malpua and Black Currant cakes , I try to go once shoot the making of the Malpuas,.. and this entire stretch is a poetic food experience..shooting in low light , and getting the beauty of moving elements blurs ..

Ramza is Minara Masjid Go For It Dont Miss It ,,, Just for the cultural experience of Ramzan and its holistic healing power as it touches everyone including the beggars that wait eagerly for alms and and are generous with their blessings.

Dont take your car or vehicle hop a cab.. more like it..later walking from here you can reach Bohri Mohalla and try out the stuff at Tawakkal too..

Across this lane past Piru lane you can visit and see the exterior of the Iranian Mosque Moghul Masjid and all this as photo walk.. with your friends ..if you are as cameracentric as I am.

If Maharashtra Govt Sold Fruits 30% Less For Ramzan Would Be A Blessing In Disguise .. Not Just Vegetables
