The Make Up Artist Fleshes The Soul of The Actor, a photo by firoze shakir photographerno1 on Flickr.
I have known many make up artists in Bollywood but I was very close to Pandri Dada and we worked on Mr Kabir Bedis Vimal campaign, and I knew Micky Contractor too once upon a time , but there are many make up artists Pradip Prashant Raju who have made a mark in the film Industry..Henri Dada was another great makeup artist of Mr Shatrughan Sinha..
A make-up artist (or 'makeup artist') is an artist whose medium is the human body, applying makeup and prosthetics for theatrical, television, film, fashion, magazines and other similar productions including all aspects of the modeling industry. Awards given for this profession in the entertainment industry include the Academy Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling and even several entertainment industry awards such as the Emmy Awards and the Golden Globes to name a few. In the United States as well as the other parts of the globe, professional licenses are required by agencies in order for them to hire the MUA. Bigger production companies have in-house makeup artists on their payroll although most MUA’s generally are freelance and their times remain flexible depending on the projects. The use of digital cameras may have made the use of bridal make up more popular.
Fashion makeup is used in magazine photography as well as on the fashion runway. Avant-garde makeup is also an applicable technique used for projects that require experimental themes. Fashion makeup is also commonly used in television and film ranging for the natural prime look to more sophisticated applications such as color balance.
Stage makeup is used as a method in conjunction with stage lighting to highlight the actors' faces in order make expressions visible to the audience from moderate distances. This often includes defining the eyes and lips as well as the highlights and lowlights of the facial bones.
Special effects makeup (FX makeup)
The use of special effects techniques enhancing physical features to exhibit metaphysical characteristics as well as fantasy makeup. The use of prosthetics and plaster casting are also required for projects that entails non-human appearances. Accents such as theatrical blood and ooze are also techniques applicable to this type of makeup.
The use of an airbrush which is a small air-operated device that sprays various media including alcohol and water-based makeup by a process of nebulization. The earliest record of this type of cosmetic application dates back to the 1925 film version of Ben-Hur, it has recently been re-popularized by the advent of HDTV and digital photography, where the camera focuses on higher depths of detail. Liquid foundations that are high in coverage but thin in texture are applied with the airbrush for full coverage without a heavy build-up of product.
Bridal makeup is a new segment in a makeup artist's repertoire. From ethnic, to glamorous, to contemporary, makeup artists are now an important part of wedding planning in Asia, Europe, and North America.
This is an art which involves the use of light reflectors and ingredients such as minerals to give the skin a flawless finish. This was developed due to the further development of high definition mediums and the cost implications of airbrush makeup.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A cinematographer is the person photographing with a motion picture camera (the art and science of which is known as cinematography). A cinematographer is sometimes given the title director of photography ("DP") and is the chief over the camera and lighting crews working on a film, and responsible for achieving artistic and technical decisions related to the image. The functions of the DP can vary. The cinematographer is the person who actually plans and coordinates the actual filming of the movie.
The cinematographer’s responsibilities as outlined below is an attempt to describe the duties a cinematographer is likely to encounter during his/her career. No two jobs are the same and the duties will contract or expand depending on the scale and complexity of the job. In the English system, the director of photography is called the lighting camera person, and has responsibilities that differ from those of the camera operator to the point that the lighting cameraperson is consulted, but has no final say over more purely camera operating-based visual elements such as framing. This system means that the director consults the lighting cameraperson for lighting and filtration and the operator for framing and lens choices. The lighting cameraperson is responsible for lighting the set, and the visual look of the film. The term DP or DOP is now widely used in the UK. "DOP" is used as an acronym to describe the director of photography, in Canada and equally in UK.
In the American system, however, the rest of the camera department is subordinate to the DP, who, along with and next to the director, has the final word on all decisions related to both lighting and framing.
The cinematographer selects the film stock, lens, filters, etc., to realize the scene in accordance with the intentions of the director. Relations between the cinematographer and director vary; in some instances the director will allow the cinematographer complete independence; in others, the director allows little to none, even going so far as to specify exact camera placement and lens selection. Such a level of involvement is not common once the director and cinematographer have become comfortable with each other, the director will typically convey to the cinematographer what is wanted from a scene visually, and allow the cinematographer latitude in achieving that effect.
Many American cinematographers have become directors, including Barry Sonnenfeld, originally the Coen brothers' DP; Jan de Bont, cinematographer on films as Die Hard and Basic Instinct directed Speed and Twister.

Eid E Ghadeer Ham Manate Hai Khum Ki Dastan Sunate Hain, a photo by firoze shakir photographerno1 on Flickr.
Eid al-Ghadeer is a festive day observed by Shia Muslims on the 18th of Dhu al-Hijjah in the Islamic calendar to commemorate the appointment of Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib by the Islamic prophet Muhammad as his immediate successor, as per Shia belief. It marks the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's PBUH sermon, described in Hadith of the pond of Khumm, in which he stated, Whomsoever's master (maula) I am, Ali is also his (maula) master. O' God, love those who love him, and be hostile to those who are hostile to him.."من كنت مولاه فهذا عليّ مولاه أللهم والِ من والاه و عادِ من عاداه"
All Shia Muslims including Ithna 'ashariyah, Ismaili,Mustaali,Taiyabi, Fatimid,Dawoodi Bohra and Alavi Bohra celebrate the day with a tradition of taking mass oath on the day to reassert commitment to Islam, in the same manner as their individual adult take oath on reaching adulthood. This they believe to be continued from the period of their Fatimid Imam.
Sunni Muslims do not celebrate this day as they feel that only Eid ul-Adha and Eid-ul-Fitr are established celebratory days. While being fully aware of the incident, they deny the Shia belief that Ali was appointed successor by Prophet Muhammad.
A few months before his passing on, Prophet Muhammad PBUH – living in the city of Medina – made his last religious pilgrimage to Makkah in a trip referred to as The Farewell Pilgrimage. There, atop Mount Arafat, he addressed the Muslim masses in what came to be known as The Farewell Sermon. After completion of the Hajj, or religious pilgrimage, Prophet Muhammad PBUH turned back towards his home in Medina. On the trip there, he stopped at the pond of Khumm (at present Al-Johfa) and appointed Ali as the master of believers and also took covenant about his master ship from those who were present at the occasion. The exact meaning of the word Maula (master) is a matter of disagreement among the major sects of Islam; The tradition is recorded in both Shia and Sunni authentic books of traditions but they disagree on the interpretation of the tradition and the event, specifically the word Maula. There is also minor differences in the exact words of the Tradition but that is the case for many repetitive traditions found in a single book of tradition as well. The tradition recorded in authentic Muslim books like Sahih Muslim narrate that after the pilgrimage, Prophet Muhammad PBUH ordered the gathering of Muslims at the pond of Khumm and it was there that Prophet Muhammad PBUH nominated Hazrat Ali to be the master (Maula), which the Shias interpret based on the events and the words of the tradition to be an announcement of Ali successor-ship of Prophet and the Sunnis believe that it was just a praise of Ali (a.s) that the Prophet intended to announce in front of his companions among whom were also some who did not like him and hence the stoppage for two days and the event as well. They further believe the wordings of sermon as follows;
"Oh people! Reflect on the Quran and comprehend its verses. Look into its clear verses and do not follow its ambiguous parts, for by Allah, none shall be able to explain to you its warnings and its mysteries, nor shall anyone clarify its interpretation, other than the one that I have grasped his hand, brought up beside myself, [and lifted his arm,] the one about whom I inform you that whomever I am his master (Maula), this Ali is his master (Maula); and he is Ali Ibn Abi Talib, my brother, the executor of my will (Wasiyyi), whose appointment as your guardian and leader has been sent down to me from Allah, the Greatest, Mighty and the Majestic."
- The Last Sermon of Prophet Muhammad PBUH according to Shia Accounts.
