The Trust comprises of 19 Trustees. These Trustees are elected under the auspices of the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950. Elections to the Trust are held under these Rules and the affairs of the Trust are conducted by the Trustees who meet at predetermined intervals. The Trust is in turn regulated by a Charity Commissioner, who is a statutory body constituted by the State.

I got a call from my dear GSB friend Sandip Shenoy volunteer from Dubai that the Visarjan journey of Lord GSB Ganesha would commence at 5 so I hurriedly took a cab and reached the Pandal barefeet in my Malang attire.
The journey began late as the auction took time .. and I shot this last journey of Lord GSB Seva Mandal Ganesha from the Pandal King Cicle till Dadar TT ..
A young GSB volunteer Mahesh gave me lift in his car so my journey till Dadar was not that bad. but I was in no shape for the onward journey to Girguam Chowpatty , nor did I shoot the Immersions this time .. I waked till Dadar Sena Bhavan and beyond to get a cab and reached home by 11pm..
The GSB cadres helped me shoot these pictures and now most of them know me I was having problem with my Canon lens and camera was one of the reasons I aborted going further ..

Shooting Appu Is Not Easy
Crowds come up around us from nowhere causing a traffic poblem and shop keeper dont like it as it blocks their shops , I had the same problem when I used to shoot him at Chor Bazar or Mahim..
So I just click click no time to compose my shots .. and Appu too keeps telling me to go or the cops will drive him away..
And what if he begged outside Mannat or Jalsa or Galaxy.. would it help.. he would be driven out from there too.. so only safe place is Bandra Bazar Road people are more human here ..
Appu My Best Friend And Me ..
I searched for him everywhere his haunts his addas I could not find him for over a year or more and than I spotted him from the bus got out and re connected with him , picture was shot by a bystander .
I gave him money in all humility and my visiting card , asked him to call me , his sister who used to guard him from rogue goats that butted him got married .
Appu is from Assam we have been friends for several years ,,he was asking about Glenn and Marziya my grand daughter I told him Marziya wanted to shoot him..he will call me he said,,
He is one of the street heroes of my blogs along with the Umbrella lady of Bandra Reclamation , the blind boy of Bazar Road and Maria the leper lady of Boran Road..
