What Is Photography ,, And Fuck What Is Street Photography

Just taking a camera in your hands wandering the streets shooting pictures randomly cant be street photography ,,

The street in the head of the photographer he picks up a subject and adds it to the street in his head .. pictures are not merely born through the camera they are cosmically born through the Third Eye Of Shiva that may be half awake or half asleep.. and it will only shoot those pictures that it was destined to shoot ,, photography is humility and simplicity combined .. I dont get intimidated by fancy cameras glitzy super lenses , I can create miracles through my HTC Desire 826 ,, but everyone needs a good camera and good cameras mean a lot of money beggar poets cant be choosers,, so a camera in the hand is better than two in the bush.

I was in town much before I shot this Muslim beggar child 1 month old begging in a street near my house ..the beggar child beckoned me I shot a few frames,, mind you I dont stalk beggars but beggars know intuitively that I wont just shoot a picture I will shoot their story too,, photography to those laid back camera club photographers ,,who think it is a print to be judged awarded .. Sorry shooting pictures is the highest form of story telling .. the camera is the quintessential storyteller ,,
Only dickheads see pictures as prints and bigger dickheads  judge them as pictures ..

I have distanced myself from so called fine art fucked photography that poses as gaudy plasticky prints .

Strange thing either you have Shivas third eye or you dont ,, you dont get it with the camera you buy , its built in your inner consciousness and you got to wake it up with your tantric kundalini.

So perhaps as a photographer once a camera club product I now shoot shit garbage on the streets and if I did post this picture for a  camera club competition it would be 3 Fucked R ,, rejected by all 3 pompous pedantic fine art photographers ,,and this is the funny part of camera club photography too many judges and far few participants and all this is coming out of my system as I saw the judging of prints at my Photography alma mater and I looked up at the wall into the eyes of Mitter Bedi , Unwala , Bhardwaj Maheshwari  Jatkar and realized their pain and agony ,,yes photography as a cosmic art is million light years away from decadent demoralized mindset of the satraps of such institutions blind mice following a blind master with a camera that has a eternal lens cap on it forever .

My Textbook Of Photography Has Been Lord Ganesha

I made sure my granddaughter Marziya Shakir and Nerjis Asif Shakir shot him too , while he was being sculpted , and both were 2 year old respectively ,they could barely hold the camera but I guided them.. the most important aspect of photography they learnt was placing the camera strap round their neck before taking the camera from me ,
Marziya is 7 Nerjis is 4 ,, both have shot the Ganesha pandals and the eyelids of the third eye of Shiva are Ganesha and Parvati ,, I use Hindu interpretation symbolism.. and for me that is the essence of my photography and all my 3 Gurus were Hindus ,, most of my photographer friends who pushed me deep into photography were Hindus ,, and so I promoted Hinduism through my images and my Hindu Blogs as Hope And Hindutva a Message of Universal Peace ..I am a victim of the 93 Hindu Muslim riots but it has not come in the way of my life ,.. it changed me certainly , it made me wary of politicians of all communities , most politicians only use the divide in religion to divide us as Indians ,..

Photography binds us all.. the camera gives conviction to our dreams ,, our imagery ,, and I am not a professional photographer .. a hobbyist poet photographer passionately mystically involved with photography..

Photography has kept me poor it did not make me rich like commercial photographers ,, but it gave me the richness of the poor , it gave me the wealth of their enduring pain.. it made me strong it changed me incredibly ,,

Yes I shot Ganesha ,, through the Third Eye of Shiva embedded in my camera consciousness ,, he had to be different ,, metaphoric and larger than life ,, and if my friend Vinay Parelkar had not bought me to Girgaum Chowpatty I could have never shot this huge tapestry of devotees the lashing waves and the soothing fury of the Gods ,,

I Refuse To Believe It Is The Camera That Takes Pictures

but the eye of shiva
within my cosmic
consciousness shoots
a thought a moment
a feeling from the soul
of a person it loots
'sometimes it steals
the entire soul i am
sure you wont dispute
it is the mind that creates
melodious memories
to the environment
surroundings pays
tribute ,,pictures
exuberantly talk
the language of
poetry silent
mute ..

but remember you can only shoot what you were destined to shoot ..fruits of the loom.. branches and roots ,,poetry a medium mystically photography's offshoot ,,
