Lost Paradise

I saw her
I bent down
level
to level
with her eye
I could
see tears
as they
began
to flow
like a stream
running by
her pain
her sighs
her silent cries
within her
hijab
was
motherhood
a lost paradise
from the shame
of living
a Muslim
beggar
woman
in a painful
morbid disguise
hope
searching for
quietude
on the streets
where
she lies

an attempt at photography dedicated to glenn losack..

health
happiness
love fulfillment
are elusive dreams
what i want
always belongs
to someone else
my poets soul
screams
what is
is not
what it
seems
a house
windowless
doorless
held by
broken
beams
her love
a mirage
part
of my
photo stream
a bond
i can
never redeem
eyes open shut
shut open
my world
a surrealistic
daydream

A Dead Poet Reveals

124,197 items / 868,992 views

the dead
eyes
open never sleep
secrets that
they keep
connected
to internet wires
the soul
was willing
the flesh weeps
as soon as
darkness
on the mound
of my grave
over leaps
kissing
the hemline of
her thoughts
touching
me very deep
my poetic
inspiration
transitional
but surely
not for keeps
through her
i am awake
i am asleep
in the land
of the pharaohs
speechless
my listless
lassitude
she sweeps
my crumpled
dreams
on a garbage heap

Aditya Raj Kapoor is the enigmatic charmer son of veteran actor Shammi Kapoor , an internet buff and a pioneer, one of the branches of late Prithvi Raj Kapoors khandaan.

I have met Aditya many a times in the past at Minerva House when I came there to meet Mr Umesh Mehra .

Of late Aditya and I became friends on Facebook.

He invited me to the audio launch of his debut film Mumbai 118..at the Renaissance Club this evening , I attended this jam packed party , and shot pictures too..I met a lot of old filmy friends , old contacts and the inimitable Jackie Shroff too..

Jackieda and I go back to Teen Batti days,,,we are old friends and share some great memories and even the Hero look was done by me at my old work place.

I rushed back without savoring the buffet dinner ..and I had no time to wish and thank Aditya Raj Kapoor..

I wish him all success through my blog..I salute his father Shammi Kapoor Saab too , whose hardcore fan I am till date..
