marziya mothers doll
proud blue blooded shia
karbala engrained to her soul
very clear
our faith bound
to a drop of tear
a bond with allah
through ahle bait
without any fear
our belief
our stead fast shiasm sincere
we need not artificially engineer
come moharam
a cry ya hussain
will be heard
far and near
we await the day
when
our Beloved Imam
will re-apppear

Under the Wisdom Tree

Under the Wisdom Tree

A few days left for the New Year
Man half asleep under the Wisdom Tree
dreams of a better life and a handful of prosperity
he has unposted letters to be sent to God
asking for respect and not just charity
man who born helpless poor
wants to live in peace and peaceful dignity
away from racist hate that nestles
like a whore in the heart and soul of poetry
the warmongers of poetic hate
from a racist poety site to a
photography site relentlessly
pursuing me
blocking my right of creative expression
my freedom of poetic speech
harbingers of hate and animosity.
even those who live in an English land
and champion their minority
thinly disguisesd as Indian haters
insecure in their pompous creativity
a searchlight a must on their
hateful nefarious activity
colluding with the might of a racist authority

Hide And Seek

Hide And Seek

a loser
with a winning streak
a commonality and yet unique
a womans child
a child woman
so to speak
perforated silence
soundlessly shriek
with her feminine fate
frivolous flippant fastidious
she plays hide and seek
gives birth to a coward
and to Hercules
she who remains outwardly weak
motherhood her inherent streak
her pain her sorrow cheek to cheek
a bodily goddess that turns antique
muted memories that cannot speak
misplaced for ever in a kingdom of the meek
a flowing river and a choked up creek
