a few shias
get upset
when they see
my pictures on the net
for using indian imagery
words like tandav

i am an indian
the cultural

is my indianess
they forget
i am more

i am
i am human

if you are a bigot
only see pictures

i shoot all religion
i shoot genderless people

God Save The Girl Child .. Happy 66 Independence Day From The Beggar Poet of Bandra

God Save The Girl Child .. Happy 66 Independence Day From The Beggar Poet of Bandra, a photo by firoze shakir photographerno1 on Flickr. 239,518 items / 2,016,292 views

I shot this on 64 Independence Day .. but the girl child from the mothers womb till her life on earth is the most delicate creature seeking protection at all times the most endangered heritage of mankind.

This is a poem if you disable words and read it as a visual of reality...

You will see hidden away from your view even those girls battered every day all over India from Mumbai to Delhi to Guhwati.

And as a street photographer poet a father of a girl child and a grand father of 3 girl children I have come a long way.. every Independence Day I stalked for pictures but than I gve up if I change the Exif Data on my Flickr images I can manipulate my Timeline ...

And so I will take my 4 year old grand daughter Marziya Shakir allow her to shoot pictures she shot the Republic Day at St Stanislaus School Bandra .. all by herself …

This picture was shot last year on 65 Independence Day , but does it matter tomorrow you will find him  at Bandra signal same clothes selling the same flags and same burden of life ..

Nothing has changed not even his quality of life, scams get bigger , corruption extends other arenas and protests continue..

And those who organized the protest at Azad Maidan during the Holy Month of Ramzan go scott free and youngsters all puppets on their strings become fall guys .. and what happened is unpardonable a shame a blot on the face of Humanity..

Smashing the Amar Jyoti was the last straw a very evil miscalculated deed but every deed was premeditated  and evry action of these protesters hurts all of us specially people like me who have seen the 93 riots lost my house at Khar Danda and my belongings , lived on rent for a year saw sever pain , and both the communi…
