My Bandra Is Dying, a photo by firoze shakir photographerno1 on Flickr.

once the indisputable
queen of the suburbs
now a wretched lady
of disrepute an old hag
my bandra is crying
banging her head

her wails unheard
her pain immeasurable

my bandra is dying

poetically what i see
i am not lying or implying
a wake up call to
those in power high flying
elections round the corner
your time ends now
a thought replying
slowly unseeingly
my bandra is dying

World Famous Photgraphers Come To Shoot The Garbage Dump Of Bandra Bazar.. Wonders Of Mumbai

World Famous Photgraphers Come To Shoot The Garbage Dump Of Bandra Bazar.. Wonders Of Mumbai, a photo by firoze shakir photographerno1 on Flickr. Vying with the Mahalaxmi Dhobi Ghat as a quintessential tourist attraction , foreigners come here to Bandra Bazar Road to see the art form called Garbage Porn..

It is an amazing sight , my grandchildren have been honing their photography skills shooting this beauty in ugliness ...this site unfortunately is not seen by politicians , police people or Municipality authorities , they are busy elsewhere getting their acts together so they have no time .

I am told teachers from neigboring schools have shown interest bringing children here to show them this beautiful man made natural site .. kids from a Muslim girls school close by want to bring their students with placards banners Save Our Garbage ...garbage has a right to exist .. along with the usual placards that they carry Save Trees ..
