Jesus The Hope of Humanity

Jesus The Hope of Humanity, a photo by firoze shakir photographerno1 on Flickr. "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
"Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
(Matthew 5.3-12 ESV)

Jesus Got Stabbed Again By Bollywood

Jesus Got Stabbed Again By Bollywood, a photo by firoze shakir photographerno1 on Flickr. How can a producer and director be so dumb show a man stabbing Jesus Christ and get away with it and whatever the content of their film the poster hurts us all even me as a Muslim felt hurt , there is absolutely no justification for this vile against the peace loving Christians of India and all of humanity..

a new journey

from my prison cell
deep down under
a morgue a spiral
stairwell
i shoot the world
outside of people
living in hell
the scorching heat
the fulsome fetid smell
they shit sweat
fornicate
where they dwell
robbed of hope
robbed of dreams
nothing more to tell
a storm fate
unwilling to quell
empty words of poetry
dont fill their bellies
broken beaten shells
refugees against
a rich mans system
they rant and rebel
cry my beloved country

This evening I set out barefeet with Danish documentary film maker Kim Jansen and his partner photo journalist Viola , both were keen on shooting the Shia ethos of Mumbai, that they had seen through my Flickr photo stream.

Today the special event was the Shia celebration of Eid Al Ghadeer at Kaisar Bagh Dongr and a procession there after on the streets of Bhendi Bazar..

They were very excited and I introduced them to our community leaders Mr Safdar Karmali and Mr Moib Nasser and other Shia heads and Maulanas too.

The Eid e Ghadeer juloos was peaceful nicely managed by the volunteers and the erstwhile Mumbai Police , my Danish friends were impressed by the Mumbai Police and took their footage too..

We shot the Juloos as it entered Dargah Hazrat Abbas and moved onwards towards Bhendi Bazar, my friend Farman Ali too accompanied us , Kim and Viloa are so im…
