meri hateli pe
thehra hai
chand lamhe
unki yadon ke
aur sar par
juton ka sehra hai
unki khamoshi ne
meri zindagi ko
ghera hai ..
har cheez dekhta
hoon samne unka
chehra hai..
chila chila ke
hichkiyan leta
hoon ..mera saya
ghoonga aur behra hai
woh beeta hua lamha
na unka na mera hai

i fell
in love
with the
wrong
woman
on the net
entrapped
incarcerated
in a prison cell
after we briefly
met ..it was a
stormy night
we both got
wet .i lost
my dreams
my direction
all my emotional
assets ..
deleted doomed
my fate impending
death .. mortgaged
seconds of my breath

her world
different
from mine
i was part
of the sand
a footprint
on the quirky
shoreline
she is afloat
on a an
incline
she is a
mirage
a distant
dilemma
sometimes
near sometimes
far mostly offline
deleted dreams
doomed divine
why does she
loom larger
than life
when the
clock
strikes
nine
her thoughts
her memories
striking my
soul on a
clothesline

you say ..
65 years
the muslim poor
have become
beggars ..
their dreams
blown away
politically
used
abused
misused
in every way
targeted
for all the
wrong reasons
for evil deeds of few
everyone has to pay
leaderless hopeless
dark clouds on the horizon
of peace hope harmony
turning gray ... allah
provides .. a prayer
of thanks they say
