his creaky bones
sins of omission
sins of commission
his wretched
soul atones .,.
a wife who
predeceased him
children ..
they their wives
he disowns
rough treatment he got
from their
hearts made of stones
he, his
pavement
now his living
tombstone
the moans
the groans
dreams on rent
borrowed loans
cultural inheritance
among gravestones
his destiny hovering
between unknown zones
waiting to meet his wife
on the other side .,.
a trickery of a thought
time condones
while he sleeps on land
the municipality owns
untalking
gravel pillow
as his head stone
home alone
