Laxmi the Beggar Hijda

Laxmi is a Hijda who operates from the Turner Road Traffic Signal, and should not be confused with Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, my Hijda Guru.
Laxmi the beggar Hijda is a kindly soul, I have not shown her any of her pictures as yet, though I have asked her to visit my shop that is two lanes away from the Turner Road Signal.
But the Hijdas lot as a beggar is a tough load to carry.
Moving betwen vehicles , and this lot of Laxmi, is not demanding, or threatning , as one finds at other traffic signals.
She was telling me this morning her mates have gone to the native place, so she is all by herself.She has lunch at a road style stall, unlike the Turner Road beggar kids she does not take left overs from restaurants at the Signal.
The Hijda Pride is a dominating force.
They beg with Dignity.They live with Dignity.
Yes they are Beggars .
So What ?
We all are beggars one way or the other.
Arent We?
