homeless dreams
like each year
this year
xmas in despair
a sadness
with jesus
she will share
jesus
is her
neighbor
at st peters
church bandra
peace and hope
lingering in the air
today at
sharp midnight
when the
Christians are
deep in prayer
she will beg
outside
the square
a leprous life
that needs repair
her karma
she must bear
a husband
who beats her
drinks and swears
does anybody
really care ?
