some want us to go back

strange they dont want us to change
the land from which
our religion
came has changed
the prophets house
a towering change
does it not sound strange
hijab can remain
but thoughts within
the hijab should change
thoughts of modesty
a climate of change
the attitude of the mullah
to his fatwas should change..
dialogue debate and fair exchange
not targetted like helpless victims
in a shooting range
the old the young
make way
a changing world
a good interchange
why thoughts
in the mosque dont change
progressive change
should not sound strange
