why do we build statues

when we cant take care of our living dead

why do we build stautes to shame them
now much after their soul had fled
pigeon shit as droppings
misgivings battering their lonely heads
someone desecrates a statue
riots and fights fear and dread ..
when man killed man
it was the statue that bled..
condemned to see mayhem
misery even when he is dead
