For the rich the celebrity the upper Brahminical classes the Kumbh Mela is only a flight away, a VVIP pass the ablutions and back homeby the net flight .
But for the poorest of poor living in the clutches of misery despair , leaving their jobs they come here for salvation , Mauni Amasvya the largest gathering of the poor a moment to wash away their sins .
With no money they sleep on the roads , in cold winter chill , some sadly start begging , food is a plenty at the Kumbh and nobody starves , every Akhara feeds the poor , even some rich people offer money blankets food grains to them.
And this touches the core a lot of tribals sell beads , fake rudraksh and earn money, and of course you pay protection money for the stalls on the roads .. that goes without saying.
The travelling scenario is worst , the Indian Railways is the worst , total chaos at the stations , and the stations are totally disater prone , the few corrupt TCs fleecing the poor it is sad to see all this but than for the pilgrim reaching the Kmbh or even dying at the Kumbh is sweet Salvation.
At he Maha Kumbh everything was fine for the rich classes , for the poor it was being treated as vermin and honestly he success of he Kumbh has nothing to do with the Government but the strong selfless helping supportive Sadhu Samaj.. this is my personal estimation.
The Akhars keep Hope alive , the Akharas are the main force and indisputable supreme authority .
And I feel all Indians despite their individual religiosity should visit the Kumbh once in their Lifetime to understand something that is truly Make In India .
I had a great Maha Kumbh ..and I met some great Tantriks , Maha Mandleshwars thanks to my Naga Guru , who was proud that I was documenting all this without bias without reservations for posterity.
