I cut my head every year during Chehlum ..and try not to cut it too deep so that I am unable to shoot pictures , being a diabetic my bleeding takes time to stop.. but it does eventually ,the wound heals in about a day or two..

We dont medicate the injured area .. and we dont use anti biotics or ointment ..we avoid stitches too..

This year hopefully I will shoot Moharam Ashura and Chehlum in two different cities I have documented Moharam in Mumbai for many years .. this year I have less responsibilities less commitments I work independently so I can go where I want..

Earlier I worked for someone so could not leave Mumbai..
