in filth feces urine
sewer waters
they bathe and swim
on the banks
he his ego his angst
his anxiety
buried alive
with him
exorcising the depth
of an alternate
spirituality
remorse penance
overfilled to the brim
taking pictures
holding my nostrils
vomiting as my own
pedagogic pedestrian soul
a new chapter began to skim
into the darkness of a path
in the corridors of my mind
disheartening grave and grim
as the lights across the horizon
began to dim
