pain sorrow tears of despair
our greatest wealth
that with each other we share
broken hearts broken fences we repair
we children of a lesser godall caught in
a karmic kaleidescope snare
mauled and mangled
hopes in a leopards lair
we want to ride the crest
tribulations terrors
we fight and dare
yes we are humans
devil may care
they also
cry
who stand and stare
