I have known Kashmiri Bawa a Rafaee since many years , as I have been documenting the Chancawali or Chand Shah Wali Rafaees close to 10 years , they gather once a year at Makhdhoom Shah Baba Urus at the Dhuni and than after the Urus move to the main road Mahim dargah of Baba Fakhruddin.
Kashmiri Bawa is a very silent mute person , you wont ever hear his voice , he does oddjobs with the Rafaees and is a peaceful guy , I love shooting him , and there are times I wonder why have not asked him more about his life , I never do I just shoot them move on..
I meet him at Haji Malang and Ajmer too... is he a Kashmiri .. I dont know but he is addressed as Kasjmiri bawa , he is very diminutive small built man..
