this is the final and last call
brings life to an end
from your bed into
a coffin they will send
for the final sleep
at St Peters
Sea Side cemetery
where the rest of
your life you will spend
once in a while
they will come
place a few flowers
on your grave
remember you
my friend
or your months
memorial mass
they will attend
as your soul
into heaven
transcend
without
having known
you to
your
memory
these lines
i have penned
when i shot
this picture
i never knew
with a poem
i would append
death is the
ultimate reality
of life godsend
waiting
to meet
you when
i too will cross
life's barrier
on the river bend
