Mumbai Mirror Reflecting Midday

Mumbai Mirror Reflecting Midday

A few coins
Painted pain
Holds sway
Surrealistic silence
Gives way
Black and white
Regions of remorse
Myopically seen as grey
For all your sins
In this world
not the other one you pay
on those weaker than you
don’t prey
or mind games that
with dimwitted hearts you play
a fiery sun, for ever cant stay
turns into night starlit to spray
man molded
man a piece of putty
in clay
for a few coins of silver
his mother he will slay
his father betray
virtueless decay
pilfered flowers
as a bouquet
corroded heart
commercialized on
Valentines Day
A Mumbai Mirror
Reflecting another
Midday
Main stream media
Some word play
Slumbai Mumbai
Is still Bombay
Street poetry
a bloggers way
the angst and anguish
of his soul display
