For those who sit in luxury’s lap
The poor mans misery
Do not have to map
The poor man born
In captivity
Born in a trap
Every breath
A living mishap
Ye it takes two hands to clap
And a single hand to slap
Wisdom hidden
in second hand scrap
Born as babies
we evolve into white and black
From innocence to tyranny
Our wings we flap
Relationships
that break of in a snap
The criminal roams free
the victim takes the rap
travesty of justice
a system that sucks
the dividing gap
the pretentious wise poet
in a fools cap
as his racist hate
as comments on
a colored mans poem
unwraps

Love Poetry Hate Racism
