Will We Still Be Begging When We Become Old

said one
muslim beggar
lady to the other
outside the mosque
out in the cold
petrified pathos
a poem unfolds
from murshidabad
to mumbai to add
poriborton ..to their
lives i am told
neglected by the
leftists ,.than a
new order sitting
pigeonholed
neither here
neither there
on the threshold
muslim beggars
of india ,,,
seeking a
foothold
memories
manifold
for dreamers
even brass
seems gold
