carrying empty dabbas
to the market for resale
her body weak her spirits
frail..slow and steady
but not a snail,,truth
is tough truth prevails
to make ends meet
the beaten trail..
surmounting pressures
she must avail..
do or die work travail,
see her picture hear
her silent wail..
as life pales
her only concern
she must not fail
