Dear FS,
I am truly shattered when I came to know the news from my son over phone. I became speechless. I was then coming home. I stopped my car ..........took a deep breath. Watching over the sky I saw his face every where in diffarent moods!
I saw him first time as a kid in Hati Mera Sathi. Those day there was no TV . Only I recalled him later during puja or any celibration through public music system or redio hearing his films songs.
I even can recall some silly incidents when I saw elderly womens are just dying after to see his films or see his pictures or stories in a Begali film magazine Anandalok!
He was very much dear to the Bengalies as he wore Dhuti and Punjabi in many of his roles as a Bengali.
No one is mortal but he will remain alive in our heart with his work.
Anand mara nehi----Anand mar nehi sakta .......... Kyu ke anaand zinda hain our hamesha Zinda rahega.
