My feet are in extreme pain , and the pointed shoes I had recently bought from Shoebiz Linking Road looked great went well with my britches but at the end of the day, my feet swelled ..

All this because I walked barefeet for many years , but with this new corporate Makeover ..I have changed , and so I decided to get the hush puppies out of date in terms of fashion but soft and caring for my diabetic feet..

The beggars part of my friendly circle and the eunuchs hijras part of another cosmic +like circle think I look weird they liked me barefeet , turban rings etc they enjoyed being blessed by me on Turner Road..

Yesterday I wore my suit and did a stint at the Brioni showroom at Oberois , Brioni Mumbai franchise belongs to my company flagship, I was stepping in for a person who runs the showroon who was on leave .. , and it was pure nostalgia as I began my career at Burlingtons of Taj Mahal and worked at Sheraton Treasures in 1975 my salary was Rs 750 and it was on this salary I got married to my wife in 1977.. my bosses were generous they gave me a raise and made it Rs 950..

I visited my place of work Sheraton Treasures and spoke to the new staff , and later in the evening after work again went back to meet Pradip Singh son of Fateh Singh , his father was my Guru Mentor at Burlingtons of India along with Ratan Singh I learnt selling from them and mind you they served at the Taj Mahal Hotel but spoke pidgin English..I owe a lot to them..they helped me all the way...and I reminded Pradip Singh about his fathers contribution to my life..


From the Oberois I thought of going to Moghul Masjid area on the eve of Chehlum but my suit , my shoes would give a wrong impression , so I decided to take a cab directly home , and to my bad luck Marziya was fast asleep I played with Nerjis Asif Shakir skipped dinner snored away to sleep..
