hidden beneath
the veil was my
muse her face
pale ..my destiny
on the crucifix
of her desire
wantonly nailed
from where i had
started ..i walked
back.. in retrospection
to the dark cell of
my inner jail..i
let out a wail
a beggar poets
unfinished tale
held in the claws
of a demonic
female ...leonine
but also frail
