solemn month comes
to an end ..nostalgia
of their hope kept alive
by the monied ..ramzan
was good thoughts
good actions good deeds
alms food from the propertied
for muslim mothers with kids
muslim beggars unmarried
away far.. in the arab world
on neighboring barbed fences
for the muslims it was ramzan
bloodied ..killing getting killed
the covenant of peace brotherhood
misplaced martyrdom forever sullied
