The Killing Field

for more time on earth
to the almighty
he did not plead
his work done
time to go home
this wanting seed
born as innocence
soon to transform
the world with his evil deed
from his seminal desire
the serpent he did breed
lusting demands of his greed
religious warfare his only creed
political gains on a killing field
mortality his unprotected shield
a pact with hate signed and sealed
