in the name god
all human hopes
all human harmony
they fleece
political shenanigans
caprice
in a world of chaos
google searching
for religious peace
tears on the soul of humanity
will never completely cease
hatred on the increase
another new war
imperialistic hegemony
on sub lease

with my own hands
i have chopped my wings
a tired blog
no pictures or poetic things
missing stones
in a sling
a blog that needs not sting
searching for a home
within a home
master of the rings
between pathos and passion
as he swings
the call of the muezzin
heads bowed in prayers
sweet unhappy endings
too all sundry
peace and hope
as Ramadan greetings

i have finally decided
to take a break
no more
burning the
midnight oil
staying awake
running after
an elusive snowflake
i have removed
the icing from
this cake
my life
down in the dumps
too much at stake
no writers block
not going to blog
for blogging sake
facebook twitter flickr
hook line and sinker
dumped in the lake
more dangerous
than illicit love
is blogging
bitten by a double
headed snake
wounded business
wounded family life
far too many mistakes
on google search
firoze shakir
barefeet blogger
just a keepsake
a memory underlying
pain and pathos
no give and take
a momentous thirst
that time
could not slake
bollywoods most wanted
a mere namesake
one flu over the cuckoos nest
no swine flu no outbreak
blogging rising a headless
horse at the sweepstakes
with my detractors
friend relatives
foes a last handshake
good bye glenn
goodbye angel
goodbye posey
goodbye benn
goodbye dragon fly
goodbye monsoon lover
goodbye metaverse
goodbye bernie
all flickr facebook friends
of every make
even the shia
hating fruitcake
behemoth
bloggosphere
my final jailbreak
memories layered
one top of the other
no more heart aches

glenn and I
are two friends
two shadows
from a single light
inhabiting
two different ends
two composite
character
that as picture
as poetry bends
each one
the others soul
mends
support
each one lends
honor through
honor defends
bound by an
angel called marziya
both our garden tends
a moment in eternity
suspends
a path from Manhattan
into the soul
of Bandra wends
