no legs
no hands
he begs
a broken
down stump
of a human tree
social outcast
considered
unwanted dregs
appu a dust
in the beholders eye
a mere speck..
his emotions
remorsefully revolve
on a movable neck
his home a path
deleted doomed
distrustfully
hopelessly
bedecked ..
with garbage
feces ..total
wreck,,,,,
Walk Dont Run....
a ponderous thought
from a beggar on hold
winter touches him
as it gets cold..
wear something
his sister scolds
as he pushes his
limbless body to
get a foothold
as the cart rolls
running feet
his fate foretold
waiting for hope
on the threshold
stone-cold
cosmic cravings
of love untold
a path potholed
out of control
He Has Turned His Back On Humanity ,,
he has no legs
or hands ..a stump
on the road he stands
begs for a living ..body
all tanned , a reminder
of pain on no mans
land ..Appu his name
a resident of Assam
weaving a tale of romance
at a taxi stand.. limbless
in Mumbai love on
demand ..was this part
of his cosmic plan
this little big man
searching for hope
this dreamer ..
eyeing distant
dreamland ,,
a castaway
from some far
off land ...
Thirst Is What Kills Mankind..
thirst for power
makes one blind
god lives on streets
search you find
existence survival
intertwined without
legs without hands
holding hope in flight
entombed in sorrow
man and mankind
gasping for breath
a new generation
follows from behind
footsteps sinking sand
tears on the soul of time

Two month eight days mourning period of the Shias will soon come to an end ..and this last day of Moharam mourning is called Athvi or 8 Rabilawal..it is held in Lucknow Mehmoodabad Delhi and other places .. In Lucknow it begins with the Chup Tazia procession and burial of the Tazia at Kazmain and lot of zanjir and kama matam..
On 9 Rabilwal Shias celebrate the Mother of All Eid ,, Eid E Zehra ,, dress in red .. and curse the killers of Imam Hussain , burn the killers effigy in parts of Lucknow..
