Waiting For Dr Glenn

at bandra bazar road
waiting for dr glenn
who shoots
better pictures
than this poet
without pen
a tribute to
an American
reborn
in a beggars den
the great white hope
among multi colored men
penetrating
the soul of
marginalized humanity
with his lens

dedicated to Dr Glenn Losack MD

dying as losers
life a harlot

Jesus Behind Bars

jesus
behind bars
for saving
the sins of others
languishing
at bandra bazar
no anticipatory bail
as used by
bigwig criminals
political czars
cannot be admitted
to jj hospital
with chest pain
blindfolded justice
eyes that are scarred

come
into my kingdom
your heart
your soul
your love
your wisdom
you in me
me in you
let us one
become
humanity
the soul
of my ashram
caste color or creed
no problem
no sectarian strife
no schism
spirituality
in a spectrum
passion pathos
in the burning sands
of this poem

Bandra Bazar Road

baba siddique
priya dutt
rizwan merchant
raahebar khan
passed through
this lane
a path
to power
electoral gain
while Jesus
Prometheus bound
watches in pain
new towers
to usurp
the gaothan
simple and plain
clogged soul of
reality
going down
the drain

The Political Scapegoat - Marathi Manoos

100,849 items / 649,200 views

limping on a path
of pain he has to tread
an ethos that
politically they have bled
a pawn
marathi manoos
a political scapegoat
not yet dead
after the elections
with his dreams
they have fled
he has
mortgaged
his rusty
creaky bed
on the anvil
lies his humility
and his head
