I Shot Faith As A Speck Of Hope In His Eyes
beneath
a canopy
of divinity
beneath
a pregnant
sky he
was one
with goddess
marriammen
i saw her
in his eyes
fierce dominating
holding his soul
in a vice
his humility
his body
as sacrifice
faith lives
on forever
faith never
dies faith
moves
mountains
a rod from
cheek to cheek
the flesh sizzles
never cries
as it sweeps
in the hollow
of his mouth
from one
end to the
other end
it pries '
Where There Is A Will The Rod Finds Its Way
a mouth
dry milking
the rod
through
the cheeks
both ways
a tribute
to mother
ma mari
they pay
fruits
of love
on a tray
from the
beach
to the
marriamman
temple
to the beats
of drums '
fishermens
colony
where they
stay humble
ganesh pujari
offers prayers
souls in a swoon
emotions shot
in color i tweaked
black white and gray
this year i was not
called by cosmic
fate to shoot
her children
through a poem
i relive lost
