Lalbagh Chya Raja ...Haryali Aur Rasta

Labagh Chya Raja Heading Towards Do Tanki

A Blog Within A Blog Within a Blog

In times like this I miss my telly lens I sold but than as I believe God helps me get pictures I remove all envious thoughts I shoot hope and humanity with two lenses one attached to my soul the other attached to my camera body.

Equipment for a street rasta chap photographer is essential but just the camera and a single lens I am not in the best of times to desire for more.

I have a singe wife too is enough as the necessity of life I have removed all worldly desires no more falling in love or falling out of love anymore.

Romanticism escapism are all part of a poets soul.. and one thing that never diminishes in my minds smithy is words and pauses as words too..

And I am above all blessed to have great friends here on Flickr and Facebook.

And it is these friends that have contributed to the shelf life of my blog.

I was naive when I started as a blogger raw stupid and dumb.. but i have evolved I have become more dumber but less stupid.

Sajid Khan Founder Hindu Muslim Commitee Do Tanki

I have known Sajid Bhai since a very long time and he leaves no stones unturned to add and promote Hindu Muslim amity through the auspicious presence of Lalbagh Chya Raja whe he passes through this dense crowded area to his final destination to Girgaum Chowpaatty.

He help the old feeble senior members of the Hindu community of this area perform arti to the Lord and offers their floral tributes coconuts to the Raja,

This is one stop on the route of the Raja I have shot since three years and as blogger who firmly believes in hope and humanity I come here barefeet to bring this aspect of mutual coexistence of both the communities the true spirit of togetherness as pucca Mumbaikars.

3 Mobile phones were found on their persons by the cops and they had accomplices too one of the mobile is in the cops hand , an adult accomplice was caught too.

A lot of people lost their belongings women had their mangal sutr stolen a girl had her high end camera stolen..

Such is the ground situation on Lalbagh Visarjan day the most crowded day on the calendar.

My Canon G9 was stolen in 2008 in a situation similar to this during Ashura Moharam at Bhendi Bazar near Moghul Masjid.

Never got it back till date even after lodging a complaint with JJHospital Police Station.

The cops never even got back to me in two years.

“Salutations to Lord Ganesha who has an elephant head, who is attended by the band of his followers, who eats his favorite wood-apple and rose-apple fruits, who is the son of Goddess Uma, who is the cause of destruction of all sorrow. And I salute to his feet which are like lotus.”

शुक्लाम्बरधरं देवं शशिवर्णं चतुर्भुजम् ।

प्रसन्नवदनं ध्यायेत् सर्वविघ्नोपशान्तये ॥

“In order to remove all obstacles, one should meditate on (the Lord Ganesha) as wearing a white garment, as having the complexion like the moon, and having four arms and a pleasant countenance.”
